It’s smaller and bluer.

Where is the FTO? Not that I don’t absolutely condone the Smart Roadster decision, but; where is the FTO?

Sitting outside the house having failed its test (too much CO) and with a severe misfire. No insurance now of course.

Ok, I guess. What’s the cabin space like in the Roadster? Would a tall person fit into it?

The Roadster is deceptively tiny. I’d have expected it to be around the same size as an MX-5 or an MR-2 Spider.

How’s the little thing treating you so far? :)

I’m 6'2 and I fit! It’s designed for people up to about that. Once you’re in it’s fine.

Big problem is horrendous wind noise once you reach about 100 kmh/60 mph which I’ve been researching. It’s got a sliding canvas roof which tends to rise just where it meets the windscreen and therefore catches the wind and there are various cures, one being to just hold it down with double sided tape although you can’t open it then.
The other issue is that it’s very stiffly sprung, although no worse than my previous car, and that the body isn’t very stiff (which would be down to the folding roof) and you get various creaks.
If they had designed the car with a proper fixed roof it would have been a lot better!

Yes, it’s tiny. It is based on the ordinary Smart don’t forget.

Easy solution! Just drive around with the roof off year-round!

You could say I’m a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to things that are smaller and bluer than most. :D
